Principal's Message

At Carrsville, we believe in “Collaborating with families and our community to cultivate students’ social, emotional, and academic excellence!” Our students and staff shine not only within our school, but also at the district, state, and community levels. From being recognized as the first Purple Star School in the district, to celebrating the Region 2 Teacher of the Year, the district Rookie Teacher of the Year, and Jr. Beta representation at state and national conventions, we are making our mark and leaving a legacy!
Our students’ artwork has been proudly displayed both at school and throughout Isle of Wight County, showcasing the natural talent of our Bulldogs. I am equally proud of the ongoing facelift to our building and campus with the new state-of-the-art basketball court, outdoor learning area with a greenhouse, freshly painted hallways, new stage curtains, a Bulldog mural on the gymnasium exterior, updated restrooms, and learning cottages…the list goes on. Our Bulldog Pride is everywhere!
The 2025–26 school year will be just as amazing as we continue to “Cultivate a Community of Excellence.” I am grateful for the collaboration and support of our community and PROUD to serve as the principal of Carrsville Elementary. Together, we will continue the tradition of excellence because that is who WE are!
Wishing you an epic year!
Remember how much you are loved!
